Test: Snub Girl B. Fail.

Oh, she's good.

Girl B called and invited Savannah over today. And Savannah wanted to go. So, I said yes.

I feel dirty.

I'll write more later. Plus, maybe I should give you the dirty detailed back story this time. But, I can't right now because my mom is on her way and she just called and I totally lied and said I just got out of the shower when really I haven't even brushed my teeth and now I just washed my face with what I thought was a sample of face wash, but was actually eye cream.

I am glad you are back. Like, in a completely pathetic, been checking to see if you are back every month since you left, kind of glad.

I'm really looking forward to the back-story on this one.

Been there, done that with the eye cream thing. Felt like I washed my face with Goo-Gone. Sure, it helped hide the wrinkles--practically made them disappear, what with all the pimples in front of them.

The second time that I have seen you back on my feed... and I still practically shot wine through my nose!!

Happy you are back - and can't wait to hear the story!

Haven't washed my face with eye cream before. However, I once remembered my shaving gel and forgot my shampoo while on a trip and staying in a crappy motel that didn't have little bottles of shampoo and conditioner. My solution was a really bad one: use the shaving gel to wash my hair. BLECH! My hair clumped together and felt so completely...what's beyond oily? Oil Slick. That's a good description. Note to self: things that are meant to be used to help remove hair should not be used to clean hair. (DUH!)

Have you considered simply giving her the smackdown? And possibly posting it to YouTube?

So was your face soft or just greasy? I would be in a world of embarrassed if I washed my face with my eye cream since I use hemorrhoid cream for eye cream. LOL.

Amy - ROTLMAO!!! THAT is funny!

So what happened? Did it at least clear up the irritation so often linked with pimples and vaginal issues???????? ;)

Lena -

I got so wrapped up in your facial wash mishap, that I didn't respond to your actual blog title. It really is so hard to snub a mother when your kids are friends. As long as you don't have to be there, I think it's okay. If it was one of those playdates where you, your kids, and Girl B all went somewhere together...that would not be good. (Not that I think bitchy Girl B (oooh - Girl "B"itch!) would ever actually ask you to go somewhere with her. She is, after all, a bitch). I think you took the high road in this case; you didn't let your personal feelings get in the way of your daughter having a fun time with her friend. It's hard, but you certainly don't want to alienate your daughter from her friend. Good for you! :)
