Smells Like Teen Spirit

I think the only thing better than discovering the not-so-fresh smell in your daughter's room for the last month has been caused by your cat peeing in her sweater drawer, is realizing you forced your daughter to wear one of the aforementioned sweaters last night.

Fantastic. The next time that damn cat jumps on the treadmill, I'm letting him ride it out.

I'm sure you all can gather that the worst part of this is the fact that I'm being forced to do laundry. During my Tivo time. Is there no end to the abuse?

How awful! Sounds like kitty's gonna get in trouble.

And I have found that smell is HARD to get rid of, too. Our kitty got my son's hat a few days ago... YUCK!

Eww. Also, a word of warning--inappropriate peeing isn't always just bad behavior, it can be the symptom of something else. I speak from experience.

I think there's a support group for that: Being Forced to Do Housework During Allocated Tivo Time.;)

Once several years ago, after cleaning out the litter box, I turned it so they couldn't get in. Then after about 3 days my sons room started to smell. They were using his bean bag for thier duty. I was so angry at the cats until I realized what I had done. Cats will do as they want given the chance!

I'll have Andrew send you some sweaters. ;o)

Holy crap! I can't stop laughing. I don't know who I feel more sorry for. Your daughter having to wear a "pee sweater" or you for having to do laundry during Tivo time.

OH my god poor S having to wear a pee sweater. I don't wanna laugh but it's a shocked laugh Lena. SHOCKED. I have no idea why they and/or he decided to pee in the sweater drawer, but I am SO sorry that ya have to clean it. Girl you know I know what it's like. Member when that stupid cat peed in my new car and it smelled like pee FOREVER. ~sigh~Cats are lovely but the make me paranoid.

Gross!! Poor Miss and Poor Lena! I kinda have to side with S as being in the worse category. A few years ago, I was at work and I kept smelling something funky. I finally figured out it was my sweater... my cat had sprayed the back of it. Aaaghhh! I was mortified that I had smelled like that for the whole day! Anyway... rotten beastly! Don't you wish there was a way that you could make him do the laundry? There really is no punishment for cats... they just don't care!

That stinks, Lena. No pun intended...or is it?

Posted by: Caryn | 04/19/2006 at 01:00 PM

Ew. This is bad Lena. This is just bad.

Here I thought my cat was the only one who goes around peeing on clothes!

I had the same problem in the older boys' bottom drawer, their pants....only rather than a cat i was my naughty (and lazy) 3 year old.

Maybe you can put the cat in the washer???

Posted by: Smom | 04/19/2006 at 08:26 PM

That's why my two cats that I didn't get rid of are strictly outside only!I just now buy expensive cat food for all the neighboorhood cats.

It's stories like these that make me glad I'm allergic to cats.
