Don't Let Me Eat Alone

I started another blog. Just for recipes! I'm somewhat of a "Recipe Whisperer" to my friends, so I thought it only fair to share my secrets copied directly from my cookbooks with you.

Since most of my recipes require the talent of no more than that of your average ground squirrel, please do not expect a complex cooking experience. I am all about fast, easy, and delicious. Yes, like me. You're funny - I knew you were thinking it.

Anyway, I'll be posting a recipe a day. I try to do lowfat with lots of veggies and use meat sparingly. (And, yes, that is only to allow me to eat the crapass McDonalds "meat" when I so desire.)

Please email me any favorite recipes you have and I'll throw them up there. As long as they don't include Spam or Cheez Whiz. ...I don't want you stealing my thunder.

So, come into my kitchen and grab a recipe. And resist the urge to wipe down the counters and do my dishes.

Thanks for the awesome reply on my blog. I replied to you there...This my dear, is quite ambitious of you! A recipe a day?? Wow. I like the easy veggie one - I think I will send my husband the link so he can't cook it up.

A very good friend of mine has a food blog. There are some delicious recipes here: http://www.domesticgoddess.ca/How do people manage to maintain two blogs and cook? I'm going to try your Chicken Taco Soup. Yum!

Love this idea! Now can you format your recipes to be one handed cooking without sharp objects and doesn't require holding anything hot and tastes good even after getting cold from sitting on the table while the baby has his meal?Really, Tony will be happy to try something new. Thanks plum.

I have to admit, I still have my kitchen blog, but I have gotten REAL slack about it. I was doing Recipe of the Week and when I messed up my blog, I never added it back in. It's a fantastic idea though! Those stuffed chicken breasts are AWESOME. I really liked them a lot. :)

Good idea. Consider yourself Bloglined...uh, again. And here you've been doing this for DAYS before letting us know! Shame on you. :-) If you want great recipes, by the way, check out Recipe*zaar at http://recipezaar.com. Free to sign up and start your own cookbook. I couldn't cook without it. I'd just be making lame burned grilled cheese sandwiches for the rest of my life. Really. Oh, and many recipe sites have RSS feeds if you like to subscribe to those and keep track of new recipes. If you're interested, let me know and I'll e-mail you some links.
